Just search head-fi and you'll find out that albeit quite unknown
(not sold in the U.S. ?) they are supposed to be warm but detailed with great soundstage...

They do look interesting, and yes you can purchase them straight from Panasonic, but at $199 they are treading on a pretty rough price point...there are a lot of great headphones that can be had for that much money so competition can get pretty stiff.

I've seen them for about $130 and it's not hard to get them for that much either! Just use Froogle.com (google product search) to find the cheapest:

Even in a local shop I found them - cheaper than HD555 here!
Anyway does anyone actually OWN THEM?
