Hi guys,

I hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

Recently bought some vintage Pioneer Monitor 10's. Unfortunately the previous owner has shortened the cable. I mean really shortened it, it's about a foot long!

So I want to solder in a new cable. I've seen some cables on eBay but have no idea how to work out the wiring configuration.

I haven't taken mine apart yet but did find a photo online showing the wiring inside the cups.

I'm going to use a standard curly type cable. Does anyone know if the wiring colours are standard in most replacement cables?

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

And buy the way the good reviews these headphones get are accurate... they sound great for a vintage phone!

I tried to attach some photos but it appears I'm not allowed to for some reason!
