I've been using a Pioneer SX-316 home theater receiver for a few years now, but I realized that the only thing I've ever connected it to was my PC. I've been reading that Pioneer does make a few hi-fi digital audio controllers nowadays that can even be controlled wirelessly with smartphone apps. I'm wondering if anyone has used these systems and can recommend any to replace the SX-316?(kinda wanted to use it the SX-316 on my TV too)

I was thinking this model may suit my needs http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/Audio-Components/Hi-Fi+Audio/N-30

but not sure what kind of speakers to use with it. Any suggestions? non-pioneer hardware is also welcome~

EDIT: can mods move this to the appropriate forum for Computer Audio
