Hi everybody
 
I just saw a Pioneer D1000 digital audio recorder on ebay in Germany - ebay.de 
It is sold as defective, a switch contact is broken. Man, I really want such a vintage machine and now my stupid(?) question is: It is possible to repair this problem with a D 1000?
How much I should pay max? It is mint. It is 110V, so maybe it is also interesting for you guys...
I will welcome your expertice and quick response. The auction will end Friday next week!

Not as much as you would expect, probably 400eur max.
Here are two relatively recent auctions for a Pioneer D-93 and D-1000, both equally rare, but working and with manual and remote.
 
D-93 (CHF 599.00)
 
D-1000 (450 EUR)

The seller has just updated the listing admitting that there are more problems than just the faulty switch (why am I not surprised?). So I suppose you could forget my 400Eur suggestion...
