I have been building various cmoy amps and I've built a bantamdac.
I thought I saw that the PIMETA v2 boards were available for sale.
Is it true?
If it is, do you think it would be a good next project for me?

It was frequently said of the PIMETA v1 that it was an easier build than a perfboard CMoy, due to the PCB. I think that's true if you board-mount the pot and LED, and skip the Molex KK options. Otherwise, I can build a CMoy faster, though with not nearly as many features.

You might be worried about the surface-mount parts on v2. The only ones that are required for a complete build are the buffers, and at worst they're only a little harder to do than thru-hole buffers. I'd say 3 SMT buffers are easier to solder down than building the buffer stacks so popular with v1, which isn't necessary with v2. Every other SMT part option on the PIMETA v2 has a thru-hole alternative.

You know I did some searches recently and I can't really find any reviews on the PPA V2 - whats the deal? I've read a couple of old comparison threads but nothing really indepth. I'd really like to know how the Pimeta compares to a Cmoy with upgraded Op Amps, and how it compares to others such as Mini3, Beta22 etc etc...
