Pimeta parts selection.

My cmoy is functional, crude but functional (it was just for practice), and I want to do a Pimeta.


????? = I don’t have a clue, please help!



C1 - ????? (to be, or not to be?)
D1 - ?????
ZNR - ?????
FET - ?????

Unless you have a good reason, you should just use the parts from Tangent's parts lists. You resistor choices are fine, except that if you are populating Q1 and Q2, you'll need to also populate R10. Also, R8 will need to be jumpered or have a zero ohm "resistor" populated.

That's basically what I'm trying to do.
But, while he's very explicit in most cases, his suggestions in other cases (specifically those items I've questioned '?????') are pretty fuzzy to an ignorant newbie like me.

Thanks for the pointer on R10. That's exactly the kind of direction I need.

I found those sheets to provide excellent information. I used the sheet mainly for parts suggestions though. I ordered almost everything from Mouser and a few things from Digikey. The only thing Mouser did not have that I wanted was a Kilo knob and Panasonic polypropolyne caps for my crossfeed.
