So I finished my pimeta not too long ago and it has worked fabulously, but now it all of a sudden has gone to brief (sometimes) blocks of static. it will be fine then the sound will become a bit staticy and distorted then it will have just static over the sound,the static doesnt change with the volume, and the source doesnt effect it either. I am running off two 9v batteries in series and havent changed them. could this be an issue of not getting enough juice? or inconsistant voltage? any help would be greatly appreciated

These problems can indeed indicate that the battery needs to be changed. Try that before worrying about more exotic problems.
