We've got a great Pie joint here in Seattle, believe it or not, called "Pies and Pints". The guy who started it, Vincent Gallapega (who tragically passed away recently) was inspired by the Pies in, you guessed it, Australia. Here's to Australian pies

...and to Vincent (RIP)

Great title for a thread too...best "fi" title yet!

Beef. But I am not fussy,in fact I will try just about any MEAT pie.

That includes one's with chicken/potato/peas/curry and just about anything else they can cram in there.

The only thing that holds its own with the MEAT pie is a proper Cornish Pasty but they are hard to find.

I eat two at a time usually because one is never quite enough.

well you'd hope its beef. a lot of the cheaper ones may include exotic types of animals, and beef technically includes offal such as tripe, snout, etc.
