It's black and an MD player (also square as opposed to the rectangular iPod, and those are black headphones and not white earbuds). I'm not going to comment on the futility of MD, however...

I usually just use the mx300's when I go out, despite the fact that I really dislike them.

I'm thinking of picking up some px100's or px200's.
I like the 650's and the karma, but the cable on the 650's is pretty long to walk around with.

Plus, with MD, I get a odd type of satisfaction out of knowing I'm not dependant on a PC for my portable audio.

Y'know, those Beyer DT231's actually look pretty nifty. Is the padding really purple?

Kinda purple I didn't get galactics but these perform just fine.
And price wise against senn 475 there are much better bang for ur buck.
