@pangaea - only speaking for myself but i just happen to like their way of staying in the ear and the fact that they have a slide volume barrel and sound pretty good for such cheap buds - they look quite cute too!

they are going to be my sole earphones now my etys are sold, i do only use the portable rig when out and about so quality isnt of the utmost importance

Interesting - not a bad looking portable. Anything you could compare them to? Equal to say PK3?

What up with all the Senn MX90s? Are they any good, I kinda wrote off that whole street/ style line Senn put out.

The MX90s are smooth and laid back. I enjoy listening to them while relaxing. My MX660, on the other hand, have more bass quantity and impact, are more forward-sounding, and have much better treble detail when both are connected straight into the Clip. Of course YMMV depending on fit, source, etc.

So I upgraded my Gymp3 player from an old iriver flash (IFP-799) player to a brand new sansa clip!!

Apologies for terrible photo skills - it's from my phone

Xin Supermini + Sansa Clip + SF5pros. Very portable setup, but I may be selling the Xin to fund some upgrades.

iPod + Soundrigor HA+ DAC + Grado SR60 - Slightly less portable, not really used unless I'm at home.

iRiver H332 + Corda XXS + SR60 - Really a home rig, don't take it out often and it sounds fantastic.
