. I would love to try them but the price is holding me back a bit, maybe sometime in the future until then my LW will tide me over.

I'd be interested in knowing if you hear any hiss through them when plugged into the voyager?

Yes unfortunately. Even with the volume turned all the way down there is an audible hiss. I'm not really keen on the set up TBH.

I'm unsure of what amp to buy now....

On another note, the Headsix has no hiss whatsoever...

Yeah its the same with the Livewires as well. Fair enough you cant hear it when music is playing, but i still know its there and tend to be listening out for it rather that listening to the music.

I've only tried the tomahawk and voyager with my LW and both had some form of hiss. As you said the headsix manages to be super quiet so surely there are other alternatives available to Custom IEM users.

Its probably due to the gain settings more than anything. I have it on low gain. I haven't tried it on high gain (its a PIA to change. Taking the whole thing apart & moving jumpers etc) If I use any less sensitive headphones I really need to crank the pot round. I do actually get some hiss with the pot turned up that high but its of no concern as I don't need to go there

I got the 32GB. Its a great case for sure. I got an 8GB for my GF & the Griffin Reflect to go with it. The Reflect has a really nice back panel. It feels like silk or something. I can't stop touching it...
