I've finalized my portable rig. It's an HD25 with a brown 4ft. Cardas terminated with a mini plug, and a Kenwood HD30GB9. I think it's as perfect as a portable rig can be. I'll post pictures soon.

You seriously use all that portably?!

it neatly fits into a bag i made, quite portable when its stored. i have an extended mini to mini, so the amp is usually stored, volume 3/4, and i control the rest through my mp3 player. btw, that mp3 player is 4 years old, and was the first type of mp3 player to have video capability, only reason that it didnt dominate ipod was lack of funding for a resizing, and lack of funding for advertisement.

My new portable rig.

iPod Nano 2G 8GB -> ALO Cryo Micro LOD -> XTRA X-1 -> UE Metro.Fi 2
As a bonus the whole rig fits into the bag that came with the X-1.

Thanks!

The rubber bands are the clear type that a person would normally use in their hair. I purchased mine from a local drug store.
