GreatDane; The Senns are 414s, they originally had yellow foam, now they
sport donated foam from airline headsets. Replacement OEM foam cost ~$75.

Well, waaaay back on either page 1 or 2 of this thread (its really grown fast) I posted the beginnings of my portable rig with my Sansa e130? mp3 player and a total airhead portable amp. I'm here to correct the first part of that.

While I had been very happy with my Westones with custom moulds, I found myself on a business trip with my westone hard case with no headphones in it. I ended up ordering a new set of Shures to use for the trip. As the trip grew longer I decided to give the amped portable setup another try and got an RSA Tomahawk off the FS forum and an ALO Au/Ag dock.

Thanks! I took a bunch of photos, and that's like the only one that turned out half-decent.

i'm quite annoyed because each have their pros and cons, i just want to take the zen vision's divx compatibility, drag & drop, zune's UI, screen and shove it into the ipod's body.

Not quite a portable rig yet, but this is a start. Got it for Christmas, and I must say, I dig. It drove my headphones pretty well on the car ride home. It's got that sexy Zune interface, and it's not a brick like the old one. IMHO, it's the best looking DAP out there, and I am happy with how it performs. I will hopefully be adding a e3c or e4c to it soon.
