Hello everyone, I've posted this a long time ago, yet no fix has been issued and I also got no reply from @justin w.

Let's start:

When I plug in my earphones into the 3.5mm jack of the Pico Slim I hear some static noise. That may not be a big problem, but the following is:

Every time I plug my Linum SuperBAX cable into the 3.5mm port of the Pico slim, I need to turn the jack while it's plugged in, since the sound is extremely muffled and no bass and/or voices in the music can be heard. Sometimes, I only hear sound from one earpiece.

So I need to fiddle with this until I get the right combination. It's like trying to open a safe.

Can this be fixed in any way or by having the Pico Slim 3.5mm port replaced with a higher quality one?

This is unacceptable for a $435 amp and it makes listening to my music a pain and not a pleasure.

NOTE: I tried about 5 different cables and the problem is the same. So it's not cable related.

Help :frowning2:

This also happened to me, if you open it up, the 3.5 port has a little gold pin that needs to be bush back a little to tighten connection. Just a gentle push will do the trick. I have two pico slims and had to do this with both.

Here is what I am talking about. The ground contact bush towards the port.

No, the pin under It. Push it up just a bit. It will tighten the 3.5 port. Under the arrow, on the side.

Thank you so much bro, I did that and for now there are no more issues. I twisted my headphone jack into the amp to see if the problem is still there. Connection held strong. Thank you very much!

My older pico dac/amp has this problem. I wonder if it has the same setup.
