hi all i didnt want to start a new thread so i asked this on another thread but there isnt any replies

its just that i've started to realise a 'ssiii" + some soft cracking noise when i turn the volume switch, but this only happens with my sensitive livewires, and not my rs-1s

is this normal or should i be rightly worried?

totally normal... dont worry about it. I get that with my SE530 and W3 but ionly when i'm not using my impedance adapter. maybe consider getting one of them. you can then use a higher range in the volume pot and that results in better SQ IMO

This is totally normal. It shouldn't bother you that much unless you play around that much with the volume knob when nothing is playing. On a side note, I believe RSA amps exhibit this as well.

Is that with low gain set?

Justin's work tends to be very good with regards to eliminating noise of this sort, although it is a very common thing in headphone amps using highly sensitive IEMs.

You'll hardly notice it after a while. Pico is a great little amp.
