I went ahead with the iBasso D3 Python that was readily available at my local stereo store. Paired it with an Ultimate Link Silver Master-i LOD to my 1st gen Nano.

Works really great with my ER4P and S converter.

Just to let you know, I prefer my Pico over my Tomahawk with both ER4S and ER4P.

I love both my amps, but now you've made me curious, and I'm going to have to test them both on my ER4Ps anyway!
