Here on Long Island all of our CompUSAs (3) are closing and since I was close by I stopped to take a look. Not much off to be honest 10%-30% on various things and still only 5% on Apple stuff. But I also went to check out headphone related equipment and noticed a sign next to the Super.fis that said $130 down to $103...their mistake because I asked twice before I took them. The $130 was for the EB but they had them all in the same case and row so they had to give it to me. They rang up at $169 minus 20% which is still not bad at $135 but since I asked the salesman twice they had to give it to me. They also carry Shure but I didn't look at those, maybe I'll go back.

FYI - at least for us, they will be open for 2 more months so I wouldn't expect any big drop in percentage any time soon.

You are most fortunate to get such a deal. Here in Western PA we are losing 1 CompUSA store and the Liquidator controls ALL pricing. I went there today to get a memory card and they were not honoring the National AD price. Headphones that are in the cases-hm have to check on that tomorrow. The Koss Pro1's are reduced 20%-so I bought another pair of those.

Be very careful of what you buy. The signs say specifically-NO returns.

Would prefer E4C-s though..

Where are they on the island? I think they must have taken the closing locations off of their website already.

My brother said the same exact thing when I told him. Maybe I'll go back and pick some more up.

The one in Garden City is off of Stewart Ave close to the Meadowbrook. Farmingdale is in the Airport Plaza with with Home Depot, Staples and Bed Bath and Beyond (which is the one I went to cuz no one knows it's there) and then there's one in Hauppauge off of Route 347 and 111. Hauppauge and Garden City are the big ones Hauppauge being the highest selling on Long Island so I don't know how much they will have left but they definately had at least 3 more at Farmingdale when I left last night.

I just went to the one down the road and they only had e4c.

They were $270 and nobody was negotiating.

They didn't have any other good headphones or IEMs.

Make sure that it's one of the 129 Comps that are closing. I think out of 229 they are closing 129 stores. NY is infested with Walmarts and Best Buys not to mention PC Richard so CompUSA really didn't stand a chance. I'm surprised that Micro Center has been able to stay in business here.

Also the highest Sennheiser I saw at Farmingdale was a HD515. But they were I think 99 with 20% off.

They are closing.

The e4c was $299 with 10% off.

I asked if that was the final price and they seemed very uninterested in negotiation.

I guess I'll check back in a few weeks.
