I got these headphones about a year and a half ago from a garage sale--seemed like a reasonable risk for 50 bucks. They're my first foray into electrostats, so it's been kind of an adventure especially with them being so old. The equipment looks like it's just been boxed forever and hooking it up I was pretty surprised that they worked (and they sound excellent too)! The only real issue is that there is a noticeable drop in volume to the left channel.

My setup was headphones plugged into the energizer (with original 5-prong plug). The energizer gets power from either the wall or an amp (I tried both), and source from the amp as well. I used an SMSL-SA50. The volume difference was the same when powered through both the AC and amp. I tried googling around, but can't really find any info on it. Any ideas?
