Well we are looking for a model of headphone with a single cable to the right headphone (Hopefully the guy in the pic has them the correct way round) and with non fabric pads.

That should help narrow it down. I'm looking to see if I can find any suspects.

The headband looks pretty distinct from the pic, but it will be hard to id.

Looks to me like the ATH-A500, ATH-A700, or ATH-A900. They all have single wires and it looks like a partially visible 3d wing. If it is actually greyish black like it is in the picture and thats not because of the lighting/angle then it is the ATH-A500.

Not sure if they are Audio Technica, as they seem to have more detail at the point where the headband meets the drivers.
I thought 595s at first but they have fabric pads.

Its not the 595's.

Im gonna say they look something like the ATH-M20, the ATH-A900 headband has those two metal bars you would see sticking up.

Seems like some sort of crazy cross between a HD595 and HD280s. But for an ID the picture isn't detailed enough to really nail down an answer, at least I don't think so. And I'm not sure it's an A-T phone, it's more sennheisser big ear cups, not the circular 900s.
