I'm hoping someone here can provide me some guidance.
I picked up a Music Hall mmf 5.1 turntable & Pro-Ject Phono Bix MM that's connected to my Denon AVR-X2100W reciever with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 10.2 and Wharfedale subwoofer. I like the warm sound from this setup but it doesn't have that oomph or energy that I like when the turntable & preamp is connected to a pair of Emotiva Airmotiv 6 and KRK 10' Subwoofer.
Should I upgrade my phono preamp to be connected to the Denon or get replace the Denon with integrated amp like the Rega Brio R or Music Hall A15.3?
