My Carver 6250 amp does not have any outputs to go to my Darkvoice 332. I want to use my turntable with my Darkvoice amp. Couldn't I just get a Cambridge 640p phono device and plug my phono into that and the Cambridge into my Darkvoice headphone amp? Would this sound any good? My Carver has a pretty good headphone jack but I would like to see what adding tubes to this setup would do without spending a fortune on another amp or preamp.

Thanks it works great. I am so cheap I do not want to get rid of my Carver Receiver. It is a beautiful amp. So powerful and clean. I should of thought of that my brain must be getting old. The phono stats for my amp and the Cambridge are similar. Thanks again.
