So, right. Need IEMS or earbuds for my X5L. Want good bass performance. The less goofy i look while wearing them the better. Under $100.

Westone UM1, quite possibly the lowest profile, most unobtrusive IEM ever. Don't stick out of the ear, no shouty white cords. Sound great too

JVC "Marshmallows". Bass is through the roof (but not too much IMO), and they're cheap as dirt (£15/$20).

x2. And the isolation is pretty good - you're just not completely isolated from the world. (See Ghostcell's post on using the Vibes on an airplane.)
