Hello
I had a pair of vsonic gr07 that never came back from repair with Vsonic themselves. So now in search of a new pair of iems
im thinking about getting phonak pfe 112. I had them when they originally were introduced but sold them, now I've heard that if you get the perfect bass and swap out the filters the perfect bass is essentially the same thing as the 112?
thanks!

Yes, the only difference between the 0xx and 1xx series outside the color options is the filters.

ahh excellent
so just get the cheapest 0xx series to get the benefit of the best of the 1xx series then it seems
much thanks!
do you happen to know the difference between the 122 and 132?

yes that's a brilliant idea! I strongly suggest finding out what filters suit you best and just buy the 012 and buy the filter set (in my case, i prefer the grey the best). In the end, it will be much of a bargain purchase than the PFE 112. Their tips are very good as well (not comply) and I like their silicone tips best usually.

let's do the math

 pfe012( with one set of green filters $99.99)+ 2 sets of filters(blk and grey 19.99*2) + 3 pairs of earguides(14.99)   = $155

pfe112 (including half set of grey and half set of black filters, 1 carrying case,1 pair of earguides)  =  169.99

so, unless you can get a a 30 dollar discount like I did, or think the carrying case is essential to you, get the perfect bass

Go for it! Even today, I would put the 112s very highly on my scale, a few places down to my 232s. They are really that great, especially the comfort.

That bhphoto deal also has the 1 button mic version for only $99 for the white model. I ordered a pair as it seemed like to good a price to pass up. Always wanted to try the Phonak IEM's and now I will :)
