Where can I find the Phonak Audeo PFE 232s in London (a store preferred, if not then a uk distributor)?
 
I know hifiheadphones have them but they are out of stock?

Try Selfridges on Oxford Street,  they were still bundling the PFE 012 with 232's a month ago when I got mine.  
 
Be careful not to look at the AKG K3003 in the glass box though.

Eaino, thanks, I will go search for them there. The AKGs are indeed tempting, would have considered them if they had detachable cables, especially for that price.

Do not recall doing that! Simply took along my own sources, spent an afternoon there and no doubt somebody else could have picked a difference preference at the end of the day. Why not phone up Hifiheadphones when they reopen on Monday?, asking when they will restock the PFE 232 and more importantly have a set for demo. Contrary to their website, they do demo by appointment. Drive down or get a direct train from Clapham Junction station (change at Hove if you get the Brighton train). Top tier IEM are far too expensive to buy blind
