Haven't been in the audio world for a while, looking to get back with a cheap pair of IEMs, I was wondering how the sound quality of these phones compare, and is there anything else to consider for under $20?

Xiaomi Pistons are another newer favorite,just over $20. I'm a big fan of the SHE3590 if you can't go over 20.

Thanks, is that Joker's website? Do you know a good place to buy them from? Seems like there are a lot of fakes.

Yeah, that's Joker's site. The only place I know for sure is legit is Penonaudio, but you can ask around in the Pistons thread.

Gotcha, so these are considered better than the soundmagic e10's. How about the Zero audio carbo tenores, even though they are a bit pricier

Hey I have all four of the iems in question. One thing for sure is that the Soundmagics rank last IMO. The other 3 are gonna come down to preferences, as IMO they're all very close in sound quality.

I'm glad I caught these threads, because I've been caught up in all the Soundmagic hype too. If they sound no better than the Monoprice, they're not worth it to me at this point - even if they're better built.
