I'm looking for a pair of closed, large headphones that is more like my CD-MDR3000 than my AKG71DJ, great soundstage, mids and bass for movies.
How are the Philips headphones? I was offered a deal recently for a pair of SHP8900 for £30 brand new (usual prices are £60 which are overpriced here in London). Cost-wise I don't mind but I don't want to spend too much for a substitute pair of headphones. I hear it isn't the most durable but that's ok since it will probably only reside on my bed/lounge.
Can anyone recommend it or other similar headphones at that price range? (I think £30 is $60 AUD, $40 USD).
