PHILIPS HE592 SOUND SO GOOD(WOW).......

Iam sorry but i still think it's sound very clean and powerful(but neutral)for
it's price and it can beat MDR-EX51 easely. Also soundstage on these(HE592) are bigger as my SF5pro.

The sound quality is good. But be very careful when you take these on the go. If the silicone cups get lost, the headphones have no value.

I have to respectfully disagree. I borrowed those from my cousin for a weekend and he borrowed my un-modded FX33. I found the HE592 brutally sloppy and devoid of detail resolution. They lack deep-bass, and the mid-bass bloat that is there is very muddy and congested. Highs are equally congested, and tend to roll off. You should all note than I am not a detail-fanatic... Give me a warm, groovy headphone any day over flat & accurate. So, for the HE592 to disappoint me... really says something.

My cousin (a non-audiophile) came away with the same impression, and returned them the next day for an FX33.

The tips took some getting used to, and I eventually could get a decent seal with them, but after 30-40 minutes they were not very comfortable.

But like anything else, these are just my oppinions... and I completely respect those who hear things differently.
