The X3 doesn't sound harsh at allI ws going to try the X3 but have read that the highs can be harsh, grating and strident. Anyone hear this on theirs?
I have the X2 and 9500, along with the X3. I think they share the same driver and I have found that there is a tendency to be wispy and sibilant at times but not harshness per se.I ws going to try the X3 but have read that the highs can be harsh, grating and strident. Anyone hear this on theirs?
Well. I need a cable that long. And when I do not, I fold it up with the cable collector that came with it. I bought the HD 650 over the HD 6XX because of the cable being too dumb with the 6XX, and buying a 6XX and swapping over to the HD 650 cable would have been more expensive than just buying an HD 650 to begin with.I think they should make and send out a new, shorter cable to those who purchased this hp!
Who the hell needs a cable this long? And the connection issues are just embarrassing...
Sound is fantastic...too bad.
What do you have a remote to control volume? Your obviously far from your source\controls if you need a cable that long! Your the first person that's said anything positive about the cable.Well. I am sorry about your connection issues. I have some issues with the cable, but those issues are not with connections. In contrast, the X2HR has been having connection issues with its stock cable since day 1. I hope you work it out and find a solution that works for you.
No, I adjust my volume with the knob. What do you have a remote to control volume? Your obviously far from your source\controls if you need a cable that long! Your the first person that's said anything positive about the cable.
I tried the management clip and it still isn't working for me. I'm right next to my amps.
No problem at all friend! No, I adjust my volume with the knob.
But, let's take a step back and realise we both want the same thing, but have different ways of getting there.
I like long cables because it minimises cable nightmares. I do most of my listening with open headphones on a couch. I usually sit and read. I have gotten the cables away from floors and furniture by routing it along and behind said furniture. In particular, at my couch, the headphones come up from behind of the couch back, and then go around the head, with enough slack to not put me in exact place.
Hanging cables are not convenient with cats, cleaning or comfort for arm movement.
For me, at least. Your mileage may vary. I am not saying my way is ubiquitous or 'the best', I am just responding to your question about who needs a long cable.
You already have it and haven't opened it up yet to burn them in a bit a give a listen?I've got this headphone 80 dollars brand new sealed should I jump into it?
