Does anyone own both of these headphones? I bought the Fidelio X1S (not the X1) from Joybuy last year during one of their sales. I've liked it so much that I bought the X2HR this week.

Today the X2HR arrived and I've been comparing them with different songs and different dacs. The thing is... I can't tell a darn bit of difference. They play at the same volume, they look identical other than the metal color. When you pull off the pads (the X1S has removable pads like the X2) the driver looks the same as far as I can tell.

There's every possibility that my ears aren't that discerning. Has anyone else compared these two?

Oh I can tell the difference. I prefer the X1S to the X2HR. They are both great headphones, but the subbass on the X2HR is heavier and gives too much pressure on my eardrums after an amount of time. I can wear the X1S for hours, but the X2HR for only less than 2 hours. I can hear this bass difference. I tend to be one who does not needs tons of bass to appreciate it well, especially since I like to hear the other details in the music, unlike the average consumer.
