Hi!

My first post! I'm looking for a IEM for my iPhone 5s for about $100. I currently have a Swedish brand called Supra Nitro and I don't like them at all. Cable noise and fitting is terrible.

I ended up choosing between Philips Fidelio S2 and Beyerdynamic MMX 102 iE. I listen mostly to hard/classical/alternative rock, often live concerts. I also have relatively small ears.

Beyerdynamic MMX 102 iE
+ Sound quality, leaning towards bass
+ Light and comfy (according to reviews)
- Weak mid tones

Philips Fidelio S2
+ Balanced sound
- Semi-open / weak isolation
- Ugly

What do you think? What would you recommend me?

Regards,

Have you seen this list? http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-list/

Make/model names lead to reviews.

Thanks! Fidelio S1/S2 isn't listed (discussed in the comments though).

Still it would be great know which one people prefer: Beyerdynamic MMX102 iE or Philips Fidelio S2. I've been looking at RHA MA750i as well.
