Hi,
I ordered a Philips DVD963sa but they told me it's sold out in Switzerland.
Do you know if a new model is coming out soon?
If not, what would you buy in the same price range and the same quality (cd,sacd) as the Philips?
Or maybe it's better to wait until September and see if new models from others manufacturers are coming out?

musicdirect is claiming that they bought all the stock in the US after they heard that they were being discontinued. I don't know if that is the reason for the lack of stock in europe... but maybe give them a try? don't know if they ship to europe and the price is still decent after rate conversions though.

They'd have to adapt it to the european voltage.
Maybe there's a shop in Europe that had the same idea.
I don't get why Philips discontinued them, they must have something better up the sleeve.

forgot about the voltage difference.

it would make sense that they are coming out with a new model to replace the 963sa with. otherwise it doesn't make much sense since apparently it was a very popular model.
