I am interested in doing a cheap modification to my Philips 963SA player. I've heard that upgrading the power supply capacitors is very effective. Can someone tell me which capacitors to upgrade, or preferably tell me where I might find a schematic.

I did replace the power supply cap on my 963 with a Black Gate capacitor. To be honest, without being able to do an A/B direct comparison, I can only remember noticing the bass improving slightly I am waiting on a power cord upgrade to see if the bass improves on the unit. I heard getting a lower gauge power cord helps with the bass as well (the 963's most obvious weakness).
