The meet is concluded, big thank you to @ng5921 and Lee for putting the event together. The venue was perfect and everything went as planned.
It was cool to hear everyone's gear and share music all around. I had a great time.

Wish I could have come. Turns out I had a wedding to go to last night. I just didn't have it in me to go to a wedding/reception then drive 5 hours to Philly, stay in a hotel, go to the meetup, and drive back.

I wasn't able to stay for long, but everyone was very kind, and all the gear fascinating! Thanks very much!
Thanks again to @ng5921 and @leesure for setting up this local meet! It was a pleasure to meet you and the other audio enthusiasts there. Lots of awesome gear! Also a thank you to @vtvu , I think it was his station that had the Susvaras (OG and Unveiled) set up. That was a treat as I had not heard those before. And the cables were stunning too.

Sorry guys. I really wanted to make it, but my father in-law passed away Thursday.

For such a small meet, this really had it all! Some of my highlights are below;

Thanks to all who attended!
- Feliks Audio Envy (@ng5921) : Every time I hear this amp, regardless of tubes, its just incredible. The 300B magic is alive and well here; it's probably "end game" for 99% of us.
- iFi Pro iCAN Signature (@p51dbnnck): Was so good to hear this again! @Thorsten Loesch did a hell of a job engineering this for high powered headphones (Susvara / Tungsten). Probably the best price-to-performance ratio of any amp on the used market for headphones that need real power.
- DCA E3 (@gc335): Still the best closed-backs I've ever heard... mainly because they sound like an open back! Great "air" from a fully closed system. You were right, that little Vali 3 from Schiit is a steal for the price on these cans.
- Ampsandsound Modified Kenzie? (@leesure) Lee had this amp setup in a back office and it stood out for the sheer dynamics it was able to portray. I'm not a fan of the DCA Expanse but this amp made them almost bearable
- Violectric V590 (@UbdU): This is the Violectric V550 with a DAC! If you're a fan of a mid forward presentation; this DAC/amp is KILLER. It also has pleeeeenty of power to drive Tungsten in high gain mode.
- Fiio FT-1 (@G8torbyte): For the price, this is a ridiculously good offering for a closed-back headphone. It punches way above its price range and has a familiar HiFiMAN-esque 2k dip to give that sense of soundstage.
- Z's Prototype Valencia Power Amp (@ZeosPantera): This.... "thing" was crazy. I brought both my Susvara and Tungsten over to hear this 14w+ power amp. The amp is so clean that, I heard the difference in DAC and pre-amp (which were a little hot in the treble for my taste) over my own setup [Holo Bliss]. As for the power amp, if you want a "huge wire with gain", this has great potential.
- Aurorus Audio Quasar? (@gandhisfist): Not sure if I have the name of the headphone correct here but Aurorus Audio has a bespoke, in-house designed driver incorporated into one of their headphones that I auditioned. Excellent instrument separation and spatial imaging. I can see HD800/800S fans gravitating towards this as an alternative.

Thanks to all who attended!

When I was still planning on going I was going to bring my Blue Hawaii BJT, would have been cool to compare to the BHSE side by side with volume matching.
Any chance for a 2025 meetup? I feel like it hard to find others that are into audio in PA. Photos are making me jealous of last year's event.
