It just arrived, but it didn't come with the owner's manual....

so here's my question.

on 205.2, there are two buttons, one of them is "Select", and the other is "Phase" .

Obviously, the "Select" button seems to be for changing input...

but I don't know what does the "Phase" button do...

Can somebody help me out?

Do you hear any sonic differences by pushing it? I press mine and it ... does nothing

I don't hear any difference although I'm keep clicking the phase button...



My assumptions are that

1. I'm using headphone setup, not a speaker system

2. the source is not a CDT, but rather my laptop...

...It changes the phase of the signal. That is, rotates it 180 degrees (i think thats right, someone correct me if its not).

it's different from switching left and right channel....right?

Correct, it does not affect left/right. Think of it as flipping the ground and signal wires on youre headphones.
EDIT: Thats assuming you have balanced phones
