I picked up a set of PFE's from another Head-Fier and I am having a terrible time getting a good fit. The main problem might be that I do not have the large single-flange tips, which are probably what I need. However, I have tried the foam tips and some Klipsch tips and I have never had such a hard time getting IEMs inserted properly. It seems like the angle is such that they can't go deep enough to make a seal. Does anyone have any tips (advice, that is) on how to get these inserted properly?

Sorry, I can't help you out with advice about how to correctly insert the tips, but if you believe that you may need the larger tips, you can actually order the large single-flange tips individually from Audeo's website.

You're not supposed to get a crazy deep seal on the PFE, though you can definitely angle the earpiece inward (towards your ear) so that the tip reaches deeper. The Comply foam fits most, just make sure you're compressing the foam and inserting all the way into the ear.

Then again, it might be that your ear just isn't suitable for the PFE.
