SACD will not be saved by online petitions. It can only be saved if those interested in it continue to support it financially and the market gains new SACD enthusiasts in significant numbers. The former is likely; the latter is not.

Unfortunately, I don't think high resolution audio is going to ever be a big success in the same world that unabashedly embraced MP3 (and low bit rate MP#, at that).
