Pet Sounds is a great album, I just prefer The Who to The Beach Bous in general.

That is really a tough one! Both represent the best album (IMHO) from both bands, both sonically and musically, but they really couldn't be a lot more different stylistically...

I chose pet Sounds based on it's effect on other artists. The number of great artists who site Pet Sounds as a huge influence on them is big, and includes the Beatles.

as nelamvr6 said, they shouldnt really have to compete, both tremendous records, they are so different in genre obviously, ermmmm....i am stuck as what to vote for, depends if i am in a rebellious stick my finger upto society mood or a relaxed, mellow musically studious mode
