Perfect earphones for iPod

Having spent much time researching @Head-Fi prior to my purchase, I've came across "most" of the counter microphonic techniques. The techniques described in posts above are among those tried and tested. They do reduce large amount of microphonic noises but the keyword here is "reduce", none of them completely cure the problem. Further, the occlusion effect (noise caused when walking, breathing etc) cannot be reduced or fixed with cable looping over the ears or routing under shirts.

These are caveats (or to some, endearing

) of "universal" fitted etys. The specially molded cans (e.g. UE10, or even etys) and some over the ear type cans (e.g. shure, um) don't have these problems. But as with EdipisReks, mind over matter: "my brain basically cancels the micrphonics sounds out after a while." Still I feel it is better to "be warned" and awared than be dismissive.

Thanks VicAjax, a bit of typo there...
