Howdy. Iv had the Audeze Penrose from awhile now. I used them quite a lot with no issues. Now that iv stopped using them for almost a year I went to use them and charge them. Iv been charging them for 3 days now with no charge holding. When I go to turn them on nothing happens as if the batteries are dead but when I have the usb cord plugged in they turn on but play up and don't work properly. They have the current firmware. Anyone else run in to this problem ?

Just an update. I have been told I need to send them in to get fix.
Is there a place i can get old firmware versions ?

We save the previous firmware and offer steps on rolling back firmware to the previous firmware (not further than that).Just an update. I have been told I need to send them in to get fix.

You can simply ask the support member to offer you the steps for rolling back firmware for the Penrose.
Not sure if the support member stated these things, but when trying to charge:
First things first, perform a hard reset press in and hold both volume wheels and the multi function button for 15-20 seconds, to make sure the unit wasn't frozen, which keeps the Penrose from charging, among other things.
For the purpose of testing the unit's charging capabilities, please attempt to charge through a mobile wall charger with a different usb cable. Do not attempt to charge on console or PC ports during this testing, as they may not provide enough output to charge properly and may actually drain the battery. Sometimes USB ports go bad, and this can happen as well.
Do this overnight, to ensure ample enough time to charge.
If this doesn't work, then just proceed with the support member.
