I heard Pendulum's 2005 release Hold Your Colour while at a friends house on Saturday night. It's the freshest, catchiest d'n'b I've heard in a long time. The tracks are diverse, incorporating reggae and hip-hop flavours. It's mostly not that 'dark' d'n'b that there seems to be a lot of. Also, the tracks are kept appropriately concise, rarely resorting to the tedious looping that seems to characterise most d'n'b these days. All in all a very strong release and one I would recommend to anyone who likes d'n'b or who wants to get into it (also recommend Andy C's Nightlife for the latter).
