So why need the 3.5mm? for grounding purpose, wouldn't there be another cable for the shielding/grounding? mmmmmm.....it seems the 3.5mm is of no 'electrical' purpose. I have seen some boutique cable, with seperate 2.5mm TRRS and 3.5mm TRS, naturally the 3.5mm is for grounding. confusing. anyone care to enlighten me?
