The PCM1704 specs only state that it accepts 20bit and 24bit sources. What about 16bit sources??? What happens if you send a 16bit source to the chip?

Do you guys really feel a dual mono PCM1704 would be better than say a dual mono PCM1794A with its crazy high Dynamic Range?
