Playing with my motherboard manual, I noticed that there is a jumper switching the pci voltage from 3.3default to 5v, for better compatibility with some older pci cards,
I was thinking, what if I use my EMU1212M with 5v pci, its modded so in theory it needs more current,
These are EMU specification
PCI Specification:
- PCI 2.2 Compliant
- Form Factor: Universal Keyed, Short PCI Card
- 3.3V I/O, 5V Tolerant
- PCI Bus-Mastering DMA subsystem reduces CPU usage
so it should tolerate pci 5v,
Has anyone tried this
