USB -> Sabaj D4 -> Magni 2U -> Sony MDR-z7

All three have volume control. What's the best way to set up volume/level in this chain? Obviously the Magni would be used as the master control, but should the DAC and PC before it both be at 100% or something else?

Max (75% to 100%) out the volume controls on everything in the chain, before the Magni and just use the Magni to set volume.
