My sony 300 disc component is on it's way out and I'm wondering if getting a large hard drive (250 gig) for my computer, loading my favorite CDs onto it and using my PC as a component is a popular option. If so can you recommend any articles about remotes and connections to a home receiver? -Thanks

Thanks, that is so trick! The part about how loading a CD as a file eliminates "jitter" and turns your PC into a high end playback source is pretty sweet. The Squeezebox 3 may have found the top of my X-mas wish list.
