Hi all,
I am a user of credit card paypal. My bank is offering me better rates etc if I change to a special edition CC. Same CC company and so on, just new card and new rates.
I am a paypal verified* member. If I change my CC what happens to my paypal status?
Thanks in advance,
Fran
* In Europe, due to differing privacy laws, banks are not allowed to give information about a customer to Paypal. That means that I cannot be a "confirmed" member. Paypal's work-around is to charge a small amount to your CC which appears with a code. You then log back into paypal enter the code and you become "verified". It takes time etc to set all this up, maybe a period of months. Also due to different laws here, I cannot "credit" my paypal account with money from my regular bank account. So the only way to get credit into a PP acc is either sell something or use the CC.
