Anyone out there a subscriber/lover of this mag? A few years ago I had a dismal view of available music and mainstream labels.

Well, I still do, but a friend started turning me onto some of his indie music that I really liked and I have since subscribed to Paste and love it as an in to new music.

I currently mainly shop for music at a local indie music store called Luna Music and pick up a few CD's here/there from Borders.

I have picked up practically every Guided By Voices and related projects released via old-fashioned mail-order (pre-order/send in money order/receive disc on or near release date) from Luna for like the past seven or eight years, kind of a tradition for me. Also, it saves me from chasing these releases around in the dwindling number of quality brick-and-mortar stores by me here in Michigan. A couple of times, I remember getting the disc on like the Saturday before the release date...BONUS!!!

Also, Paste is a great magazine that I purchase every month, and need to subscribe to.
