I am interested in buying a pair of paradigm atoms but i cant find any US based retailers selling them. Does anybody know of any retailers that sell them? Have they been discontinued?

Not discontinued as far as I know. They're still listed on the web site under the "Performance" series. I'd look here for authorized resellers:

That said, I regularly see Atoms on eBay for pretty significant savings over new. If you search for "Paradigm" in consumer electronics you'll typically get about 2 pages of listings.

For instance, here's a buy-it now that would let you get Mini Monitors instead of Atoms for about the retail cost of Atoms. The Mini Monitor is a big step up, sound-wise.
