I have some Mogami W2534 cable I want to turn into interconnects for my Headphone Amp and DAC. Then use the rest for a HP Extension Cable. I want to use Paracord to sleeve it. But, what size Para to get. The Mogami has a O.D. of .236/6mm . So, can I squeeze some 550 Para onto it. Or will I need some 650 or 750? Anyone with personal experience please chime in. Thanks.

Older thread, sorry. Are you trying/wanting to sleeve it with the rubber outer coating on or without?

With, it might be a tight fit for 550 and you might want to go up. If you cut the outer coating away, though, you should be able to fit the 4 internal wires into 550 with no issues.

Well, The 550 does not fit. Too small. So is the 650, and 750 Paracord. I'll probs have to go with smaller cables for my Interconnects. As the Mogami W2534 has a O.D. of 6mm/.236
