I've been fighting the urge to get an inexpensive fisheye for my Nikon D200, but yesterday I succumbed to the incredibly reasonably priced Vivitar 8mm f/3.5 (aka Samyang). In addition to making goofy pics of friends, I want to start figuring out how to do 360 degree panoramas.

I looked through this gallery and I am itching to give this a try...

Has anyone tried doing this?

I have done 360 panoramas with my 50mm. I just put the camera on burst shot, shoot portrait, and spin around slowly. I stitch the images in photoshop.
